Laughable! Who is her attorney, Michael Cohen?
I know George Smiley and he is a nice guy. I think Karen Hartley Nagle had a problem getting along with people. The past Council President was a breath of fresh air compared to her. I really think they need to replace her before something serious happens. The bottom line is that she is crazy.
She is certifiable. In fact she was diagnosed. She hated Smiley long before she swindled her way into the County. A real con woman.
Learn the lesson. Never elect a candidate with CRAZY EYES!

Smiley notes that she doesn’t seem to know what the term “harassment” actually means.
I would add that she seems to have a very loose understanding of the terms “complaint” “filing” and “formal”.
KHN is never so much at home as when painting herself as a victim. She does a disservice to real victims when she does it, but, then, it’s always been all about her.
Wait – I thought we were always supposed to believe the woman? I guess she didn’t use the magic word – “sexual” harassment.
Well, there’s that, and her track record.

While some winners throughout the state toasted to their own victories, Hartley-Nagle wanted to first share her win with those who made her campaign possible.
“It’s always the team and the people you have around, and I have the best people around me,” she said.
Considering her upset, landslide win, Hartley-Nagle saw it as the voters’ being tired of the past.
“They want to see a better future,” noted the primary winner. “We’re going to have transparency and accountability, and we’re going to focus on economic development in creating jobs.”
How are her words matching up to these promises?
The real question is why did State of Delaware Elections Commissioner Elaine Manlove refuse to investigate Karen Hartley-Nagles loans to her self during her bid for County Council President when several complaints/inquires where sent to her? She claims to have loaned herself approx $36,000 while receiving a monthly loan from Patrick Jones in the amount of $5000.00 per month. Title 15 Chapter 80 Delaware Code Campaign Finance Rules indicate its a misdemeanor to funnel money into a campaign! Patrick Jones has pubically stated that he was unaware and did not give her money for her campaign, the maximum contribution is $600.00, he asked Elaine Manlove to provide him a clearance that he did not exceed the limit and she replied the “Matter is Closed”. Clearly someone is protecting this women!!!!
Karen Hartley-Nagle ran her campaign on good government and transparency? Shouldn’t she have to prove she didn’t commit a crime?
This needs investigated and she needs removed from office, clearly she is unfit and costing the taxpayers money to clean up her continued misbehavior.
As for Councilman Smiley, Kudos to him for making this public, now the voters can see the truth about her and it wont be hidden under a personal matter. So far she has cost us hundreds of thousands , we should maybe thank her for the tax increase!

Here are a few of KHN supporters. Vince D’Anna and David Grimaldi were key. Grimaldi is still twisting and turning with his lawsuit against NCC and the Gordon administration. All but one charge was dismissed and David Finger abandoned the ship. Grimaldi won’t likely get a big payment out of Matt Meyer considering how much wondering about quid pro quo would be on our minds. I understand that Grimaldi let on that he wasn’t speaking with direct knowledge of the accusations he made and the whole mess is likely to turn into complete mush.
Elaine Manlove seems to punt on EVERY single issue brought before her. Very disappointing.
