Song Of The Day: June 18, 2018

Gram Parsons was integral in incorporating the best elements of roots and country into rock music. Or, perhaps a better way of putting it, he turned rock fans on to the best elements of roots and country.  It didn’t hurt that, on his great album “Grievous Angel”, he had Emmylou Harris singing with him. He died at the age of 26.  He deserves a week of his own. It starts here:
