What do Ken Simpler and Brett Kavanaugh have in common?

Ken Simpler nearly killed a kid at Princeton by plying him with alcohol. “45 students suffered alcohol-induced medical problems” at a party run by Simpler. Princeton Borough prosecutor, Michael Barrett, said “I’ve never been involved in a case with a bartender that produces the hospitalization of 15 people.”  One of Simpler’s underage hazing victims was in a coma for a week.  The judge who sentenced Simpler said, “Only luck prevented death.”

In the end Ken Simpler got a slap on the wrist, then complained that the slap was too hard. Ken Simpler will be the GOP nominee for Governor of Delaware in 2020.

Kavanaugh yearbook page gives you an idea of how many chances these guys get. Criminality is the theme, and the contempt he has for Rehobeth (sic) police jumps off the page. But nothing they do sticks to them. They get do over after do over.

Compare Simpler and Kavanaugh any 18 year-old African American kid growing up in Wilmington. The poor need to be perfect. In America, black kids can’t get out of line with cops at all. One slip up could lead to being legally murdered by a cop. And even if not murdered, a poor teenager will be caught in the gears of a criminal “justice” system designed to grind them into dust.

Poor people get zero do overs. Guys like Simpler and Kavanaugh get nothing but do overs.
