Where is the one DE Republican that proves me wrong?
I want to be positive. I want to give credit where credit us due, so someone please point me in the directtion of the one Republican in Delaware who deserves to be praised for having the courage to speak out against Trump.
I’ve been searching, but have not heard a peep from ANY of the so-called “nice” Republicans. Where is the Republicans with the courage to say in public that they say about Trump in private? Put a link in the comments section or drop me a tip in the tipline.
DT is a great president. You’re just salty because you’re all net takers.
net takers
Let’s play the what if game! I’d have to believe that if Cloutier was running, she would challenge this administration on various topics.
While Cathy tells people she’s not really a Republican, she never publicly challenges Republicanism.
I like her, but it’s not as if she hasn’t had chances to change her registration. Or the location of her desk in the Senate Chamber.
You’re looking at this all wrong, the brave Republicans are the ones not afraid to show their support for a racist by NOT speaking out. It takes courage when you are willing to sell out your name, party and country in order to stay in power even when it means you will be known as a racist, piece of shit, no good excuse for a human
Checks out,✓ ^^^^
Heh…. good luck with that.
The Republican party IS the party of Trump.
Cult of bigotry
Do they have to be living?
Preferably.
Dave’s Q reminded me that even that walking corpse, Mike Castle, is too chicken shit to speak out about Trump. A real bipartisan hero that Mike Castle.
I saw Castle on Market St about a month ago. He’s an older guy, let’s just say that.
If you want to say walking corpse, you’re not wrong.
I stand by it.

I’ve been thinking the same thing about Uncle Mikey. It crossed my mind that if it hadn’t been for Christine O’Donnell, he would be our senator, and likely would have been on the Judiciary Committee.
Would he have Flaked Out during the Kavanaugh hearings?
One other point re Mikey not saying anything about Trump: given his low profile these days and the state of the local news media, chances are nobody has sought him out and raised the issue.
James Spadola is a critic of the president. Ask him and he’ll tell you. I wouldn’t expect somebody running for a State Auditor office which has no correlation whatsoever to Washington to talk about Trump, so don’t pull that card.
(a) If he doesn’t support Trump and he’s running for statewide office, why won’t he say he doesn’t support Trump? OK, I’ll answer my own rhetorical question. It’s b/c he doesn’t want to alienate Trump voters. Meaning, he’s a Trump enabler.
(b) Does he have to ask Tom Wagner permission to renounce Trump, or does it matter which time clock he’s allegedly on when making a statement renouncing Trump?
Anyone who doesn’t publicly renounce Trump is with Trump. Doesn’t matter what they whisper in your ear. It’s that simple. In other words, Alec, you’ve proved our point.
don’t pull that card.
Spadola might as well go public with his criticism of Trump, what does he have to lose? He’s going to get whooped in Sussex anyway by McGuiness, his only hope is a huge number of independents break for him throughout the state.
He’d win my vote.
Go on Spadola’s Facebook. He has denounced Trump multiple times on it. Of course he’s not going to put his views on Trump on his campaign page because he’s not running for a legislative position; Trump doesn’t affect how the Delaware Auditor of Accounts page is run.
Spadola-stanning.
You don’t get it. A lot of R’s denounce Trump in private. But no one will say it publicly. Unless they’re also announcing their retirement.
I scrolled back on his Facebook page past Memorial Day. Not a word about Trump.
Gotta say, the guy is a great self-promoter. If he publicly came out against Trump, he could sway a bleepload of D voters, including me.
