A Sleeper Race For Y’All

Been doing some due diligence during my days off from work.  I've gotten some interesting insights into this November's races. And I've got a live dog in a State Senate…

Colleen Davis could have used a primary

Colleen Davis could have used a primary

In style and substance Ken Simpler is the Brett Kavanaugh of Delaware politics. A vote for Simpler is a vote for Trump. He should be in the fight of his political life right now, he isn't. Colleen Davis announced her run against Simpler in June, then nothing. A primary race would have allowed her to get some earned media, sharpen her message, build her team, raise money and start hitting Simpler where he is weak - on the fact that he is a Trump-loving Republican. It cost $4,623.28 to file for Treasurer. That could have been a good early investment. That said, Kathy Jennings got a primary and where's her campaign?

Meet Your New State Legislators

I know, I know, election's not until November.  However, there were several contested primaries, and the winners of many of those primaries face no opposition in November.  So, they'll be…

Coons’ Version of Bipartisan Comity is Still a HUGE Load of Bullshit

Jack Markell is full of it as well. His 760,000 word editorial never addresses the fact that Coons' version of bipartisan comity is a sham because it will never be reciprocated by Republicans who haven't been on an Adventure Holiday to Africa with Coons, and who are ALSO not running for anything. While he allows early on that nothing will probably come of Coons' recent triumph of bipartisan comity, he then drones on for what seems like hours without ever mentioning that the modern GOP is the problem. They have NOBODY (that isn't named Flake) interested in Coons style bipartisan comity. "Potemkin Village" actually over-states how legitimate Coons style bipartisan comity is. No convinced? Look up who else was on that Adventure Holiday with Coons and see how they vote on Kavanaugh. Two things need to be in place for Coons style bipartisan comity to work. The cross-aisle buddy has to be NOT RUNNING FOR ANYTHING, and must have been on an Adventure Holiday with Coons.
