The Illinois version of Tom Carper may well lose his primary

Representative Dan Lipinski is a House version of Tom Carper. His voting record is pro-Trump (like Carper's) in a district that is solidly Democratic (like Carper's). Betting markets currently have him as the underdog. I hope that holds.
Rep. Dan Lipinski, a conservative-leaning Democrat unaccustomed to close elections, came to make his pitch at the St. Patrick's Day party for seniors just as the retirees finished their corned beef and cabbage. Before the seniors got to their dessert, the veteran lawmaker facing a liberal insurgency brewing in his party touted his commitment to bringing federal dollars to the district.
