Trenchant Cohen Testimony Analysis
Cohen’s testimony means nothing. It is a fart in the wind. It all comes down to Americans turning up at the polls on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, and voting out Republicans and oligarchs at every level. From County governments to the White House. Everything that doesn’t involve voting in actual human beings bullshit.
The TV show was the point. Stuff only registers for a lot of people when they see it on TV. For example, they know Donald Trump is a great businessman because they saw it on TV.
Apparently Republicans wanted viewers to remember that Michael Cohen is a liar. They’re hoping people don’t notice that, while constantly saying he was a liar, they didn’t try to show that anything he was saying today was a lie. If he’s such a big liar, why didn’t they point some out? Show, don’t tell.
Like, don’t tell people Trump isn’t a racist. Produce an actual Black Person to prove it.
IF, and I really mean IF tRump loses, I wont believe he gives up power until I see the other person being sworn in on 1/20/2021.
I’m not confident he will go away nicely.
He certainly doesn’t seem constrained by any sense of decency.
I didn’t watch any of it, but I did take an irate phone call from my father, who has developed a sudden strong desire to bash Jim Jordan’s head in. From all I’ve read, this couldn’t have gone much better for Democrats.
