The Democratic National Committee has decided to exclude Fox News Channel from televising any of its candidate debates during the 2019-2020 cycle as a result of published revelations detailing the cable network’s close ties to the Trump administration.

While I applaud this long overdue move by the DNC it is shows that “moving to the center ” is neither effective nor warranted in modern politics, the famed “center” just ain’t what it used to be in polarized America. Perhaps the haze is clearing for Dc based Dems, they’ve now admit Fox, is in fact, propaganda. To quote Jim Hightower: “There ain’t nothin’ in the center of the road but dead armadillos”. Sage wisdom lost on Carper and Coons and far too many others.
