The Mueller Report means nothing

Filed in National by on March 22, 2019

Today (or someday) Robert Mueller will release his report on Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential elections.

Nothing will happen and it means nothing.

All the facts of the case are known. Russia did interfere with the election. The Trump campaign did participate in the interference (for good reason, they were way behind).

Everyone knows all of this. No news will be broken. Republicans will not be bothered by rereleasing this known info, and Chris Coons and Lisa Blunt Rochester will fret that doing something about it will backfire on Chris Coons and Lis Blunt Rochester.

The only thing that will free the country from this crisis is a massive Democratic wave in the next election.

    Now then… that said

… if the report shows that Hillary Clinton’s Iowa campaign chair has an overdue library book…oh lord, shit will hit the motherfucking FAN!

Chris Coons will lead the campaign to have that campaign chair held at ‘Gitmo to await a trip to the gallows.

At least the ФСБ hasn’t sent “humanitarian aid” to our border and publicly requested the military assassinate our head of state. So that’s nice.

it’s all about the Senate in 2020. That’s the only way this shit show of a country has a chance.

    • jason330 says:

Even if Dems take the Senate in 2020, they’ll be gripped by the fear of “overplaying their hand”

It is a fear that ONLY afflicts Democrats.

“… if the report shows that Hillary Clinton’s Iowa campaign chair has an overdue library book…oh lord, shit will hit the motherfucking FAN!”

..Or that people from the Hillary campaign met with Ukrainian officials about leaking financial records concerning Paul Manafort…same thing I guess.

  5. RE Vanella says:

    Hillary. Cool, bruh.

  6. Dana Garrett says:

Is anyone else bothered by the news report that the report does not recommend any more indictments? Not any of Trump’s family? Not Trump himself?

  7. RE Vanella says:

I feel like I warned against wild Madowesqe expectations.

    Didn’t I though?

Didn’t Jason write this post this morning?

Maybe go chat about it on Blue Delaware.

To sorta paraphrase Ari Melber, all we know is what we don’t know. The ‘tell’ on this whole thing is the extent to which Barr does, or doesn’t, release the entire report, including all the evidence they’ve collected.
