OK, this lame Biden excuse for skipping the convention in the state with the single largest voting bloc got me to thinking. What was Biden doing over the weekend to advance ‘equality, justice and social progress for LGBTQ people’? More than say, making a strong plea for those rights at the California convention. I’d like to know.
I’d also like to know why this has become his cause celebre. He’s been a relentless champion, no, make that THE champion for LGBTQ rights, since last week. Sincerity or polling results? Or did he have a family member come out?
This smells like the beginnings of flop sweat to me.
Turns out they couldn’t even keep their stories straight. One delegate says that when she asked why Biden wasn’t there, she was told he was “respecting that California is Kamala Harris’ home state,” which is an even dumber excuse.
