1) John Bolton has always wanted to bomb something in Iran,
2) The WH will blame Iran for whatever a Fox News chyron tells them to blame them for,
3) John Bolton will kiss Trump’s ass today and tell him how strong and manly he is,
4) Trump will approve Bolton’s pet project of bombing something in Iran,
5) On the night of the bombing, Trump will appear on TV at 8:00 pm to take credit for the amazing success of Operation #AmericaFuckyeah!
6) Having been bombed will not sit well with Iran,
7) Senators (including, no doubt, Coons) will rush to mic to be a part of Operation #AmericaFuckYeah!

It’s a slightly different situation, because you have Bolton involved and lots of Muslim-haters in Congress. But I agree. His pattern is to pretend there’s a threat and then pretend to have solved it. An actual war would present him with a situation in which he would have to do actual work, and he’s allergic to that.
He’ll throw the industrial war complex a bone or two, but Trump is not a war monger for whatever reason, and that’s just fine by me.
A cruise missile strick on a hay field recently designated a WMD site will fit the bill.
