Ok. So who has the ability to organize and/or raise the money to create the organization and name id necessary to take him on? Saying oooooooo someone should primary him is easy, but if you have no candidate and no interest from the electorate…
Here is the thing that really nags at me. It didn’t have to be this way for Carney. Coming in with no discernable political ideology, he could have been a pretty good Governor.
He could have listened to diverse voices, broadened his support by being a strong advocate for some selected democratic platform planks, linked up with advocacy groups, brushed up his presentation and been okay. A couple of small things could have made a great difference.
Here is El Somnanbula writing back in December 2016:
What if John Carney, who has already co-opted the Chamber, if not vise-versa, comes in and says, “We have done so much for business, it is past time that we do something for those who go to work every day and struggle to raise their families. I call for a meaningful minimum wage increase, one that also incorporates a cost-of-living increase annually. I will not rest until this bill is on my desk.”
It wasn’t impossible. Instead, he decided to be a Ken Simpler/Chamber of Commerce hostage, his hands permanently tied. Its crazy.
It’s easy to complain and wonder why you don’t have what you want. It’s a lot harder to make what you want a reality. I’ve always been consistent that I’m a progressive, but also a realist. Delaware voters have made clear that statewide they prefer a less ideological and more measured leader. Is there momentum for more progressive and less risk adverse leadership? Sure it’s starting and last year’s election put some great leaders into office. But there still isn’t a leader who can take their progressive show statewide, so until there is-no point in whining. Build a pipeline, boost those you think are doing the right things, but don’t focus on what is, focus on changing it.
They neutered Matt Denn, and in the process took out any chance of someone else taking the mantle. I mean, that LT. Governor is just riding the pine until her time is ready to be the next Ruthie. I hate this state

I agree. That is part of why it is confounding.
Then go find that person.
Dear Tinder, ISO charming, witty Democrat…etc.
Mike Houghton should primary him. He’s doing the job anyway. Might as well get paid for it.
It might be hard for voters to discern a difference between the two.

He’s a follower, not a leader, and a coward to boot. Plus secretive and inarticulate.
That Hmm is a real problem-solver, eh?

“until there is-no point in whining.”
In your opinion. There’s nothing to indicate it’s true.
What you actually mean is that YOU don’t like whining. Thanks for your advice, which is essentially useless.

Pretty much
He’s Ruthann’s revenge, controlled by money. A corporate Democrat strait from the cookie cutter.
