Like Warren’s plan, but would substitute requiring insurance on gun ownership as opposed to a big tax hike as a tax hike of any sort plays into the Republicans hands. Now is the time to strike, as usual the NRA is playing it’s lie low game until the heats over game, it’s been effective in the past and may be so again. But the frequency of the assorted massacres is picking up with little time for the electorate to go back to sleep and ignore the violence, perhaps there’s a chance this time. Perhaps.

The new Martin Scorsese film “The Irishman” is based on a book, “I Heard You Paint Houses,” about crooked Teamster boss Frank Sheeran that was written by Delaware author and former prosecutor Charles Brandt. Because it’s a Scorsese mob movie it’s getting a lot of press, not all of it good. This piece dismantles the veracity of Sheeran’s “confessions.”

I wonder if the movie will include Sheeran’s involvement in one of Biden’s elections back in the day, where The News Journal wasn’t distributed for a week prior to the election?
