NC Special Election today will be a close one

Filed in National by on September 10, 2019

Trump’s net approval in North Carolina is -2. The district is reliably red, and the Republican is a full-throated #MAGA fuckwit. The Democrat, Dan McCready, is polling slightly ahead.

President Trump is betting that his political brand will help Republicans keep hold of a North Carolina U.S. House seat in a special election Tuesday.

“To stop the far left you must vote in tomorrow’s special election,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Fayetteville, N.C. Monday night. The rally was held for 9th congressional district Republican candidate, state Sen. Dan Bishop.

Bishop promised the crowed, mostly decked out in “Make America Great Again” hats, that he would “defend your values in Washington D.C.”

Could you imagine the GOP’s nonstop coverage of the fact this is happening b/c of voter fraud?
Just another example of how Dems let the media and/or conservatives control the narratives and they just move along with it instead of taking control. Why isn’t every Dem out there talking about how Republicans literally tried to steal an election.

God forbid we make them look like criminals at the risk of alienating voters

  2. One (slightly) encouraging sign is that, when Trump asked the people at his rally who had voted early, virtually nobody raised their hand. Banking early votes is essential in close contests like this.
