Chris Coons Sends an Aloof, Wack-a-Doo Fundraising Email From 2001
It has become clear from his many appearances on Morning Joe that the last 18 years simply hasn’t happened for Chris Coons. In Coonsworld the Republicans Party has not turned into the deformed white nationalist monstrosity we know today. His Republicans prayer breakfast buddies in the Senate are good wholesome patriots who “put the country first” and “lay aside their partisan differences” to “do what is right.”
We know he is aloof and disconnected from today’s reality, but just how aloof and disconnected is he?
Here is a glimpse. A recent fundraising email basically says, “I’ll find common ground with zealots and psychos. Send me money.” That’s it. That’s the whole fundraising appeal.
Crazy.
Dear Chris Coons Staffer Who is Reading This Right Now,
I know you are just doing your job, but I have an important favor to ask.
Please, can you ask the senator to explain the centrist position on seeking election help from foreign government. Is a little help ok?
Please ask the Senator what common ground he hopes to find with regard to taking military weapons off the street. Are certain streets okay for military weapons? What is a good common ground number for the number of toddlers that need to be killed by gun nuts every year?
What’s the middle of the road position on the GOP’s ongoing voter disenfranchisement program? Is Coons okay with some agreed upon number of voters losing their rights under the constitution?
This aloof, wack-a-doo fundraising email and why Coons doesn’t recognize the GOP for the racist monstrosity it has become suddenly makes a lot more sense.
