Dem Primary Logic & “Real” Americans

It is absolutely essential that the eventual Democratic candidate appeals to the 5% of voters who are “moderates” with no coherent or settled opinions on anything. They are the real Americans. Anything other than trying to be as vague and vacuous as these voters by “moving to the center” is distasteful liberalism. And it is an iron law of American politics that distasteful liberalism cannot win.
