Coons’ Lit is Pure Bullshit

Filed in National by on February 15, 2020

Just take a look at this nonsense. Suddenly Coons is a “progressive” with a track record of “bringing people together” to get things done. Honestly… who? When? Please, Coons, be specific. Name one Republican buddy that has broken with Trump. One

“Pragmatic Progressive” is a new term to describe progressives who don’t run in the say crazy crap that will never pass lane.

Can you tell me how Chris Coons who has always been pro choice fully supportive of same sex marriage, strong on unions, voted against both Supreme Court picks and has fight trump on foreign policy is NOT progressive? Because he took money from some banks. If there is anything you guys learned from the carper race is you are Gona have to do better then that. Oh yea and the fact that he prays for the President is not going to bother anyone.

    • Alby says:

“Pragmatic progressive” is close to an oxymoron. It means someone who has progressive leanings but won’t act on them because he doesn’t believe in them.

His position on Israel is the opposite of progressive.

His position on working with Republicans isn’t progressive. Progressives want to defeat Republicans, not work with them.

“Because he took money from some banks” is quite a tell, isn’t it? Taking money from banks is what made Joe Biden not just vote for but push for the 2005 bankruptcy bill.

That’s what you get when you “work to bring people together.”

Progressives don’t want to get together with Republicans. We want to eliminate them as a political party.

Chris Coons is more concerned with having his position establish him as one of the elites despite his diminutive stature, and ultimately he’s a coward. He’s a little man who wears his Senate seat like a pair of elevator shoes. He’s as smart as an elephant and as timid as a mouse.

When he was frightened of Tom Gordon, he talked about him in private the way Republicans talk about Trump in private. But he never made a public statement against him because that would have trained Gordon’s sights on him. He never made a squeak until the indictments came down.

I suggest you talk to actual progressives instead of your union buddies to find out what people who aren’t sucking Democratic Party teat think of him. Hint: They’re not impressed.

And, as always, if you weren’t scared you wouldn’t be here to tell us to stop doing what we do.

Easy. That’s all no cost window dressing that even Coons could agree with. When push comes to shove Coons votes with the GOP and has even said that he would vote to give Mitch McConnell veto power over any Democratic initiatives put forward by a Democratic President.

Get your shit together, bro. This is weak.

While we’ve got a defective freak show checking in here, I’m dying to find out about Coons’ track record of “bringing people together” to get things done.

What exactly during Trump’s tenure has he gotten anything done? Who has he teamed up with? When did that teaming up result in anything remotely progressive? Please inform us, Dipshit.

    Be specific.

“…the fact that he prays for the President is not going to bother anyone.”

One last thing. If you were not nervous about the picture of Coons praying with Trump on the very day of the Barr vote, you wouldn’t have mentioned it.

  7. jason330 says:

Think about it. Coons’ entire case for re-elction is wholly unsubstantiated nonsense. He needs Democratic primary voters to believe that there are Republicans who will “meet Democrats half way” on policy questions.

It’s ridiculous on its face. It is absurd.

  8. deek says:

Coons is more in line with Democratic primary voters then Jess Scarane is. If the Presidential primary is showing us anything more voters are voting for non medicare for all candidates then they are Bernie who seems to be stuck at 25 percent and not growing his base. Moreover, most Democrats tired of this constant partisan warfare Jess Scarane seems to be intent on going down.

Moreover Bio matters, what has she ever done? Hold another office? Did she work for anyone? Was she ahead of her HOA? Peace Corps? Veteran? Teacher?

Seems like another angry millennial willing to say and do anything for social media likes. Nah Bro pass….

And so they intend to surrender. We know. That’s what we’re fighting against. You are the enemy.

Also, do some homework yourself. We’ve written about her. Use the search tool.

This is more cogent than deek’s last contribution. I wouldn’t at all be surprised to find that making blog comments is a job being shared by a couple staffers.
