Klobs and Pete say that you should vote for them because Coons will stop President Bernie’s or President Warren’s initiatives in the Senate. That’s a dumb argument.
The notion that we have to accept a US Senate hamstrung by Coons is false on its face. The idea that progressive initiatives are impossible because Coons and other corporate lackeys in the Senate will block them is something we have a say in.
This year we have an opportunity to lead the country in changing the Senate by voting in Jess Scarane.
Turfing out Coons, a vocal critic of a government that works for the people, will be the shot heard round the world.
