As if there were any doubt, the Delaware Council on Development Finance today approved a $4.5 million corporate welfare handout to struggling internet economy disruptor Amazon. Amazon, infamous for the wretched working conditions in its “fulfillment centers” warehouses, promised to invest $250 million and bring 1,000 new jobs to the area.
