In a belated attempt to distance himself from his Azar confirmation vote, Coons has signed onto letter to Alex Azar expressing “serious concerns”.
This is a lame attempt to try and bury the fact that he helped the GOP install a man who:
– has said that health sector profits must be protected during this crisis,
– has attacked the ACA,
– has defunded the CDC, and
– who now admits that he makes national health policy decisions framed by fear of how Trump will react.
Coons’ letter is a fucking joke. Don’t read his letters. Look at his votes.
