Coronavirus Haiku
One of my wife’s Facebook groups is having a coronavirus haiku contest. These were my contributions. Feel free to add your own in the comments.
Orange man tells us
Ventilators are coming
It’s another lie
Toilet paper now
Is like a precious metal,
Worth much more than gold
Trump applauds himself
Synchophantic experts smile
Fauci disappears
Wage slaves, back to work!
Should rich folks lose their money
Just so Grandma lives?
There will be no help
For ungrateful governors.
Will they never learn?
If you find face masks
For less than twenty dollars,
Buy up all you can!
Social distancing
Is making life much harder
For our working girls
We’re just days away
From a beautiful vaccine
Many, many days
Stay inside your houses
Except for vital business;
Off to buy a gun!
Why do voters think
Trump is doing a good job?
They must be insane.
Why do voters think
Trump is doing a good job?
They must be insane.
Yes. I don’t get it.
The poor shall die at work.
The rich will laugh as they perish,
None shall emerge the wiser.
Whole hearted curses
on Trump and his like-minded
sycophantic curs.
