I think we’ve all thought what Michael Moore says outloud to Vanity Fair:

“There will be no November 3 election if things keep going the way they’re going right now,” Moore said. “I think he would have figured out a way, even without the coronavirus, but this is a gift to him because I think he never really intended on leaving in the first place. The nomination of Joe Biden removes any feasible pretext Mitch McConnell could come up with for supporting this move, but McConnell doesn’t need a feasible pretext.

If the last 3.5 years teaches us anything, it is that the flimsiest of flimsy pretexts will suffice.

Why would he cancel the election? Biden is hiding behind the wing backed chair in his basement sending out tweets like “we want a pitcher not a belly itcher”

The federal government does not conduct elections. I doubt there are many states that are going to decide to do without governors, state legislators, or congresspersons.

Why do you think that Delaware, New York, California, etc. are going to cancel their elections because Trump says so?

This sort of “plausibility testing as concern” is annoying.

  4. Jason330 says:

You are taking the word “cancel” a little too literally there.

Jury nullification is closer, but sure keep boiling Mr Frog.
