Portland (OR) Police Chief Resigns. I know a little something about this as my daughter has taken part in several of these protests out there. She’s smart about it, has a lawyer’s phone number written on her arm, wears her mask, stays hydrated, comes prepared. The Portland police have been out of control. Tossing tear gas (more dangerous than advertised) at peaceful protesters, utilizing a ‘sonic’ device to basically deafen protesters. When you think about the generally progressive nature of the city, the behavior of the cops has been beyond the pale. And it hasn’t really been the fault of the chief, it’s the fact that the cops view the protesters as the Enemy, and they ignore the ‘leadership’. Period. Time to come down hard on them.

I don’t generally place as much value in polls as others, but the 538 poll of polls on Trump’s approval ratings offers little solace for the Tangerine Terror:

So, let’s all get pissed off at something you just read that was already double hearsay- “Kevin saw this on a friend’s post”. Let’s direct our anger at Republicans and save anger for Democrats when we know something is true.
Christina referendum today. There are at least 100 people lined up outside Glasgow high, waiting to get in, never seen anything like it before. Might be welcome to voting in the COVID age.
Looks like a resounding pass. I’m genuinely happy for them. But it’s still time to combine Glasgow and Christiana high schools.
This great, I mean not for the people who pay taxes and living paycheck to paycheck. But it is great news for the new superintendent who we welcome with open arms. And extra pay.
