I notice three more Arkansas counties have become hot spots since yesterday–two small rural counties, and Sebastian County, which is the fourth most populous county in the state. All were solidly pro-Trump in 2016. Also an outbreak in Midland County, TX. Trump got 75% of the vote there in 2016. Finally, just look at Arizona. The outbreaks are in the population centers of the state. No doubt about it: Arizona reopened too soon.

Not only did AZ re-open too soon (I live here) very few people out here are taking any precautions. Last time I went to Walmart (I go once a week), not only do only 50% of the people follow the one way signs (which can be confusing), depending on the time of day (early morning seems to be best) only about 25% of the shoppers have masks on. I went down one isle….10 carts…no masks on anyone down that isle. I’ve gone using Kroger Pickup and only going to Walmart very early in the AM. Our governor seems to be Trump Lite (not as much of an asshole, but won’t wear a bleeping mask in public). I contend that requiring masks in public would be the best move, but I don’t think that’s happening
