LGBTQ Community Gets Justice From–The Supreme Court!

This is just fantastic!  Chief Justice Roberts and Trump appointee Gorsuch voted with the four most liberal members of the Court to rule that ‘a landmark civil rights law protects gay and transgender workers from workplace discrimination.”

“An employer who fires an individual merely for being gay or transgender defies the law,” Justice Neil M. Gorsuch wrote for the majority in the 6-to-3 ruling.

The immediate impact of this ruling is huge because “…(u)ntil Monday’s decision, it was legal in more than half the states to fire workers for being gay, bisexual or transgender.”  It is no longer legal.

Wow. This is a landmark ruling, and the lives of millions of people will be far better for it.  Woo-hoo!
