As someone who doesn’t “live in the moment” very well, this story has be bracing for a flood of “comeback kid” stories about Trump “finding his voice” and “making it a race”. It is predictable because we’ve been through it so many times with our lazy media.

Good luck convincing people “we can live with the virus”, especially old farts like me. Expected the bars and restaurants to be packed, limited openings or not, they are anything but. I hate to rain on someone’s Senate parade, but we’d need to beat Martha McSally (AZ) Cory Gardner (CO), Susan Collins (ME) and Thom Tillis (NC) just to get to 50/50 split. I mean, it is nice that all of those seats are in play, but winning all four is the longest of long shots.
