Every national election in my adulthood, the Democratic Party has chased 1o million or so “swing” voters who claim to be “moderate” while leaving 100 million eligible but disenfranchised voters out in the cold.
It is ridiculous and stupid. It is a strategy that can only work if you happen to be running against someone who is as fucking nuts as a Trump, and even then it is only a 50/50 proposition to work.
