Michael Moore Warns: Trump Is Poised To Do It Again.  He says, and I agree, don’t count on the Democratic infrastructure to drag Biden across the finish line.  We’ll need to do it ourselves. BTW, I’ve lost count of all the pleas for dollars I’ve gotten from the DNC.  Other than Howard Dean, has there ever been a national DNC chair who wasn’t a corporate stooge? Starting to grind my teeth again…

Biden Finally Leaving His Basement?  It’s about fucking time.  Don’t want to sound pessimistic, but his campaign essentially consisted of about a successful week and a half from South Carolina to the coronation. And Harris had better be everywhere.

Figliuzzi: These Gun-Toting White Youth Are Not ‘Troubled’, They’re Radicalized.  Trump has radicalized them, and his administration is encouraging them to foment political violence–and then blaming the other side. ‘Pro-Trump caravan’ descends on Portland.  Gee, I wonder whose side the cops will take?  Trump’s heading to Kenosha on Tuesday. Anyone think that he’ll seek to be a healing presence?

Trump Ends Election Security Briefings With Congress.  Their weak excuse?:

President Donald Trump said National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe made the decision because the administration “got tired” of intelligence about election security leaking from Congress.

“They leaked the information … and what’s even worse, they leaked the wrong information and we got tired of it,” Trump told reporters while attending a briefing on Hurricane Laura in Orange, Texas. He didn’t offer details to support his statement.
