It’s primary day. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to vote. If you don’t know your polling location, you can look it up here.

A Trump-appointed federal judge has ruled that Pennsylvania’s shutdown of businesses and ban on large gatherings are unconstitutional. Gov. Tom Wolf plans to appeal.

It’s clear Donald Trump got his notions of presidenting from watching James Bond movies and studying the villains who wanted to rule the world. It turns out that, two years after denying it, Bob Woodward’s book revealed that President Shitgibbon did indeed order Syria’s leader Bashar al-Assad assassinated. Then-Secretary of Defense told Trump he would — then, when Trump left the room, Mattis told everyone to ignore it.

Boris Johnson, having fucked up Brexit as only a 21st-century buffoon fascist could, is now trying to get Parliament to modify the already-done deal, in violation of international law. The bill passed its first hurdle, mainly because Johnson threatened to strip all power from any Tory who voted against it.

Michael Caputo, the shitbag Trump put in charge of communications at the Department of Health and Human Services, has gone full whacko, complaining that career government scientists were engaging in “sedition” in their handling of the pandemic and that left-wing hit squads were preparing for armed insurrection after the election. Yeah, right. We should be so lucky.

New Castle County Council has cleared the way for development of what’s left of the Hercules Country Club. As Al Czervik said, country clubs and cemeteries are the biggest wasters of prime real estate.

The floor is yours.

cemetaries are the stupidiest things ever followed closely by CC’s. But yet our state owns a couple CC’s instead of either A) building state owned affordable housing on them or B) selling tracts solely for that purpose. and why not turn all these abandonded malls into affordable (low cost) apartments?

Just back from voting. I had to do so in person because the mail-in ballot I registered for never showed up, and at the polling place I and two other people (of the maybe 6 voters I saw while I was there) had to wait while a poll worker sat on hold trying to verify that we could vote in person. Not a big deal once she got through and the person on the line was able to un-flag us as mail-ins… but this was only the low-volume primary. If issues like this are widespread and aren’t addressed, November is going to be a mess.

Yeah, it’s definitely been a shakedown cruise today. I had no trouble voting, but one of the two machines printing out the voting cards was out of service.

Sure hope the other one doesn’t go down…

Two machines designated for my ED in the makeshift location. One was functioning.

The other was jammed by a voter who tried to insert something other than the ballot sheet.

Voted in Milton at 7:30am. I didn’t have any problems thankfully. I saw a whole lotta GOP signs but not many Democratic ones other than Coons & maybe Carney. So far so good down here.
