Q: How do Republicans get away with it?
Duncan Black at Eschaton makes a good point: There’s something to be learned from the “we’re just doing this” way Republicans go about things. A way to stop something from being portrayed as “controversial” is to just assert that it isn’t.
Of course, the GOP isn’t burdened by having to drag around Chris Coons. A Senator who is, at his best, deadweight, and at his worst, working for the other side.
