Well…?

Voters did some good here in Delaware. There is that. Congratulations to Sarah, Kyle, Spiros, Marie, Larry, Rae, Krista, Madinah & Eric. We are a better state this morning. To others that worked hard but fell short. Thank you. Not winning is sad, but not trying is tragic.

Nationally…I allowed myself to believe that Biden’s unity message could break through America’s carapace of willful ignorance. So much for that. Biden can still win, but he’ll win the Presidency of a country wrecked by stupidity and greed. Huzzah!

  1. Can we please have a presidential candidate we can vote FOR next time? As they say in football, the only thing ‘prevent defenses’ prevent is victory.

BTW, no Open Thread this morning. We already have two open threads…

Poll and polling are never to be trusted ever again. The industry is dead.

Have not trusted polls or pollsters in decades, now you know too. As for candidates we all knew Joe was nothing to get excited about, but we also knew the Dem field of candidates was not much more. We need many more new faces and new ideas, groan if you like, but AOC is the future of the party.

AOC is part of the future of the party. The party is healthiest when it has a strong left wing.

This is like watching a man eating a shit sandwich asking the waitress for another one.

The reason for Biden’s poor showing in south Florida is likely tied to the report that 27% of the mail-in ballots there were never delivered.

That’s not enough to give the state to Biden, but it explains why Trump’s margin is so out of line with 2016’s results.
