I get it. But delaying is misguided because he will never gain legitimacy among Republicans.
All the “we need to work together” malarky is great for the pundits, but c’mon… We all know Republicans are irredeemable. Cue the fireworks, claim your mandate, Joe, and move forward.
Biden ran on honoring facts and science and listening to experts, so I’m OK with waiting for the mathematicians to call it. I’m sure the transition team is fully under way.
