Who Are The Favorites For Biden’s Cabinet? I don’t think Biden should hesitate on the more ‘controversial’ choices. (A) They’re not controversial. (B) I don’t think R senators will unify against these picks. Rethugs may have the long knives out for Susan Rice b/c ‘Benghazi’.
Biden To Sign Several Executive Orders To Undo Some Of Trump’s Worst Actions. Back in the Paris Accords, back in the WHO, repeal of the Muslim travel ban, and restoration of the dreamers’ path to citizenship. Next, he needs to get kids out of cages and help reunite them with their families. He also plans to reverse the rollback of some 100 or so environmental and climate regulations that Obama had imposed and that Trump had nixed.
A Day Unlike No Other In Delaware History. Who did those fireworks? A wonderful, cathartic day. It’s amazing how much Trump has almost shrunk from my consciousness. Joy overtakes the country.

I’m enjoying all of this. Just a small correction to the above, per the linked article, the news conference was always going to be at the landscaping company as it is in a red friendly area; no Biden supporters to interfere. It was a mix up (big surprise there) when Trump erroneously assumed that the Four Seasons reported by the field team meant the hotel. The clarification from the hotel was probably a combination of efforts to distance itself from the circus and to avoid press showing up unnecessarily.
I find that hard to believe. Who would even have known of the EXISTENCE of the Four Seasons Landscaping Company?

Kauffman was a great senator, and he’s working on Biden’s transition team.
He’s getting up in years, though. But, then, so is Joe.
Please, no sitting Senators to the Cabinet. No Wall Streeters. And FFS no Republicans.
In my mind, the composition of the cabinet should depend on the outcome of the Georgia runoffs. With a Dem Senate, I’d want the most progressive cabinet possible, to advocate for progressive legislation. But with a Repub Senate, there will be no progressive legislation, so I would be OK with a more centrist cabinet.
