The fundraiser benefits The Democratic Party of Georgia in their efforts to run a statewide voter mobilization effort to win the two Senate runoff elections on January 5th and take back the Senate for Democrats.
It is a shame that we have to be right back in the fight like this – and that “the fight” for many of us means laying out other $50, or $100, or $500 donation – but these are the times we live in.
Unpopular and wrong on the facts the thing that conservatives have is a relentlessness. Until we can match them in relentlessness we will have the shitty government we have come to expect from Republicans and corporate Dems.
I’ll bite. After the devastating losses by Senate candidates who raised hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars, why would this make any difference? Get-out-the-vote measures work, not endless commercials. The evidence is clear from literally a month ago. All that wasted money to South Carolina, Iowa, Maine, and Kentucky… for what?
The money raised here is going to the Georgia Democratic Party’s get out the vote effort, not advertising.
Or give to Stacie Abrams fair fight.com which was exceptionally effective engaging new voters and getting out the vote.
