‘Stop The Steal’ Protests Go National. Stabbings and at least one shooting ensue. Arrest these bastards. Warnock supporter attacked in Georgia.
“It’s The Deposed King Ranting”. This, from…Bill Barr?
Trump’s ‘Army Of Sore Losers’. Rethug candidates who got smoked, but fight on in court. Pathetic.
Gov. Newsom Has Chance To Reshape Cali Politics. He may get to appoint, not just one, but two, US senators.
Police Bill Of Rights Focus Of Oversight. A really good primer from Matt Bittle. Read this and let it roll around in your brain for awhile:
LEOBOR (Law Enforcement Officer Bill Of Rights) currently has a confidentiality clause that is the only one of its kind in the country, and that confidentiality clause prohibits the release of police misconduct records,” said Misty Seemans, an assistant public defender serving on the subcommittee. “The only individual to get access to those records are civil attorneys who are suing for specific claims of damages.”
Here’s the ‘dog bites man’ tidbit:
A spokesman for Gov. John Carney did not respond to a question about whether the governor would be open to altering the Law-Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights.
What do you want to talk about?
Carney should say “On the whole, our heroic Law-Enforcement Officers do an amazing job under difficult circumstance and deserve transparency. They deserve the trust and support of the community which these changes allow.”
This shit isn’t difficult. It is hard to imagine a more pitiful example of leadership, although I’m sure some even more pitiful example is currently working his/her way up the Dem ranks. (Yes. Looking at you, BHL)
Until the retired state police are removed from the legislature and have control of the process no effective reform is possible, the Dems were flaming fools for letting them run under their banner, the reason is the usual political cowardice that runs rampant not just Delaware but in all government in America. That and the Fascists are at the gate and political violence is building. Yep, I jumped the gun but here it is, and I doubt it’s going to stop for awhile. Today it’s knives, but gun fire is coming.
I think the Senate is ready to act. But the House D leadership is cops-times-three.
I think I can hear Network Delaware recruiting from here…
