So Jason, looks like my “dark vision” is correct, next comes an age of assassination as this is far from over. As ever the cops stood back and let the Fascists run rampant, and as they ever will pay no price. Likewise don’t expect the Proud Boys and other Fascist groups like the Oath Keepers to be rounded up and neutralized, they will continue to roam free and violent. This is the beginning, perhaps of the end, perhaps not.
So far it’s as half-assed as every other thing Trump has ever done.

I’m safe as are the senators and staff. There were some scary and chaotic moments when the Capitol was breached by protestors and the Capitol police evacuated us from the Senate.

I never thought I would see this in our nation – a President egging on protestors and allies in the Congress to seek to overturn an election. We need to come together and secure our democracy. I remain confident we will return to the Senate tonight and complete our work.
Remarkably, Coons worked in a plug for bipartisanship. Un-fucking believable.
No Coons, we don’t need to “come together” with these traitors. Fuck no.
