Texas extremist Chip Roy calls for “alternative methods” to deal with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Warning in a letter to Speaker Pelosi that if she doesn't "apologize immediately, we will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this regrettable statement." Of course, Roy is not going to say exactly what that means, but I think we all know this is a physical threat against her. I am not sure at what point there is going to be an assassination attempt against AOC, but I’d say that I think it is more likely than not in the next two years. These are horrible times. And the Republican leadership is completely fine with all of it.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday that she would not comment on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) because she doesn’t want to “elevate conspiracy theories” in the White House briefing room. “We don’t want to elevate conspiracy theories further in the briefing room, so I’m going to leave it at that,” Psaki said. Psaki also told reporters that she would leave the decision to Congress as to whether to keep Greene on committees as she has come under fire for her promotion of unfounded conspiracy theories.
