The DEGOP Endangered Kent County Seniors with a Super-Spreader event in Dover
Some dipshit said…
Hey Bozo, you are 100% wrong, the MMC policy was simple and followed. 1)if walking or moving around wear a mask and EVERYONE 2) if sitting and eating/drinking etc., no mask required 3) EVERYONE wore a mask going in and out of meeting 4) like most places it was cleaned after event
You are clueless as usual
To which I reply, Hey Bozo…you were saying?
This may be news to some Republican dipshits, but there is this thing called Facebook where Republicans post evidence of their crimes and general malfeasance.
Nah ha!
You don’t understand, if they don’t look at a FB post it isn’t there. It doesn’t exist. If seeing is believing, they simply fix it by not seeing. Easy peasy.
That checks out. I have to admit, Trump not being on Twitter has made the country objectively better.
Dave! How’s Mexico?
Life In The Yucatan Summary
1. Scientists say that asteroid dust confirms that the asteroid strike creating the Chicxulub Crater in the Yucatan was the triggering event resulting in the demise of the dinosaurs, et al within decades. I live where the dinosaurs met their end.
2. AMLO the President of Mexico (Trump’s so-called counterpart in Latin America (although technically Mexico is part of North America, which coincidently makes them Americans (boy howdy ain’t that box of chocolates), says that anyone in the country will be vaccinated, sometime. So I am waiting my turn, which was going to come anyway because I am a Residente Permanente.
3. The Merida expat community is generally very liberal, with the far right elements living at the beach. Sean Hennessey, the gay Irish owner of his namesake pub in Merida, famously banned atrump supporters and held a celebration of Biden’s election with free tequila if you said the code word (Biden).
4. I just paid my property taxes which are due in Jan. 150 pesos, roughly $7.50 USD. No that’s not a typo. Paid my 3x times weekly trash pickup. 140 pesos – for the entire year. I’ll stop there.
5. The Mexican people are very gracious and kind, with small acts of kindness too numerous to mention. Some are pretty well off. Many are pretty poor. We tip (propina) generously for almost everything because we are living on their economy with our U.S. dollars.
6. Our medical care and medicines are first rate (Merida has 7 hospitals, 4 of which are state of the art) at a fraction of the cost of the U.S. Even though my medical insurance givers us in Mexico, I don’t bother filing for reimbursement because it’s so cheap. A house call (yeah they do that here) is like $75 USD. The veterinarian care is extraordinary. Our vet has been over to house to treat our diabetic dog so many times, we just set another place for dinner.
7. But the most amazing thing is the freshness, quality, and availability of fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs and milk that are not refrigerated.
8. And lest I fail to mention, Costco’s, Texas Roadhouse, the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, the Yucatan Leones baseball team, and even a Fuddruckers for God’s sake.
9. And finally, in the middle of the city, we walk the streets at all hours never looking over our shoulder. There is only one gun store in Mexico. It’s located on an army base in Mexico City. No one has a gun, except the police and not even all of them do.
So, it’s pretty sweet here in the Yucatan. How’s gay Paree?
On lockdown at the moment, but I’m back in Delaware until France starts accepting travelers from America again.
It’s great to hear from you. Promise you’ll stop by once in a while.
I promise to stop by.
Quintana Roo is very loose about American and Canadian tourists. The Yucatan is closer to France. Very conservative. We still have curfew in effect. Everything shut down 1030 to 530.
