    Police control the level of violence in any interaction with the public.

    I know it, you know it, Fox Nation knows it. That’s why Fox nation is sad that police didn’t get a chance to riot yesterday and bust a bunch of skulls.

    I am saddened by the number of (white) people I know who were rooting for Chauvin. Or were jonesing for acquittal just so they could self-righteously expound about property damage from riots. I heard so many irrelevant excuses and twisted logic I got depressed.

    “He had heart disease/was on drugs.”

    “He shouldn’t have resisted. ”

    “Did you watch the whole video? He was acting all crazy.”

    “Let’s see if they like it when cops stop enforcing the law in their neighborhoods” (hoping for a police slowdown).

    There is no point arguing with people like that who don’t believe they are racist.

    The levels of internalized racism and inhumanity in that are just breathtaking.

    Justice isn’t served in the Floyd case until all appeals are denied and a commensurate sentence is imposed. Until then we will have to endure a ton of bothsiderism bullshit about Maxine Waters and Biden and the mythical BLM terrorists.

    Bottom line: It doesn’t matter WHAT recommendations the subcommittees make when the Task Force itself is dominated by cops. Which is exactly why this rope-a-dope was set up the way it was.

    We won , but only for today, the cops are already busy murdering blacks, this time a 16 y.o., As ever the police kill well over one thousand Americans per year, more then a few unarmed, some innocent of any crime. I believe in unions strongly, but I also believe the police unions are the enablers of crimes by the police.

    Several of the recent police shooting incidents give me pause based on initial reports. We’ve got plenty of racist and toxic cops, but we also have a social problem with armed teens and adults. Not mutually exclusive. At least now there is often video to sort out what happened in court. I don’t have the stomach to watch all these snuff films frame by frame to see if it was murder or something else.
