Bipartisan Boy, in his secret identity as mild-mannered Delaware Sen. Chris Coons, has used his progressivism-fighting powers to issue a press release, co-signed by nine other Democrats and 10 Republicans, informing the world that they don’t need no stinkin’ tax increases. You know, those onerous Biden tax proposals that would increase taxes on those earning more than $400,000 a year ($450,000 a year for couples). People fitting that description make up less than 1% of the population in Delaware, where much of the wealth doesn’t take the form of earnings. Coons and his buddies should call themselves the No Justice League.
Everybody thinks conservatives are assholes, even other conservatives. That’s my takeaway from the New York Times analysis of the latest session of the Supreme Court, where instead of a 6-3 conservative bloc, the right-wingers have broken into warring camps, producing what amounts to a 3-3-3 split.

“Assholes with guns” is redundant, but who else to blame for the all-out assault on gray wolves? A recent hunt in Wisconsin, for example, exterminated 20% of the state’s wolf population. More than 50 conservation groups have implored the Biden administration to immediately restore protections on the animals.
