Garfunkel and Oates, the stage personae of Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, carved out an odd niche for themselves. They work as comic actors — both had recurring roles on “The Big Bang Theory” — but their musical act is mostly too racy for TV (their three released LPs are titled, in the best Spinal Tap tradition, “All Over Your Face,” “Slippery When Moist” and “Secretions.”)
This is one of their most recent songs, released on the internet in 2018. As Lindhome explains in this clip from the Just for Laughs Festival in 2018, it came about because she dated a Republican who gave the duo some helpful advice on their career. Even for this show, they had to censor themselves, singing “woman-grabbing” instead of the original “pussy-grabbing.”
