Big News! Rebecca Cotto To Challenge Rep. Deb Heffernan!!
Blue Delaware broke the story right here. This is huge for the progressive cause. She has been so active in progressive campaigns, and she works like a demon. Both Chris Johnson and Larry Lambert can attest to that. She is smart, she is down-to-earth, and she will not be outworked. Her progressive credentials are second-to-none. Oh, and everybody who has made her acquaintance likes her.
I’m so psyched! Just can’t believe this. The best that can be said about Heffernan is that she doesn’t suck. She has received more campaign contributions from Buccini/Pollin than even Stephanie Bolden. You will have to ask her why. She has not been a leader on anything during her time in Dover. And she’s dutifully supported leadership in exchange for crumbs.
I can guaran-God Damn-TEE you that Becca will vote to end the Kop Kabal. And will spearhead progressive legislation.

They were smart with their regarding the redistricting (I’m sure that will be out soon) but it won’t matter in the end for all the reasons listed above.
