Dems still not close enough to “the center” for the New York Times

Coonsie and the New York Times Editorial Board believed in the center, the orgastic centrist future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter—tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…. And one fine morning——

    There is no centrist platform, just a void space between the progressive left and reactionary right. Right now I begrudgingly vote for “progressives” because there are at least some identifiable policy goals.

    “Move to the center ” is at best nostalgia at this point, there is no center, and if there was it has moved dramatically to the right. But the same goes for today’s famed “Centrists” as they are nothing of the kind and the servants of the rich, super rich and good old Wall St.
