Amy McGrath and other Senate candidates deceived donors to rake in far more cash than their Republican opponents. They got crushed anyway.
Jaime Harrison (Podesta Group) did the best magic trick I ever saw. He simultaneously got his ass beat by Lindsey Graham and made $100,000,000.00 disappear.
For accomplishing this feat he was promoted to DNC Chair!
Many consultants and Dem shop marketing people bought boats and second homes off this.
A close friend is involved in Virginia Dem politics on a grassroots level. During the McAuliffe fiasco reports to me went from:
– The DNC isn’t being very helpful, to
– The DNC is actively frustrating our efforts, for some reason.
I think we all know the reason.
In the interest of accuracy, Harrison made 130 million bucks disappear. For this he was promoted to “a leadership position”. Which is not at all a leader, as I have explained before.
