What is Senator McBride Waiting For?
I mean other than waiting until after Family Leave crosses the finish line, can anybody give me a good reason why McBride shouldn’t run for Governor?
It is International Women’s Day – a day set aside to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, after all.
She couldn’t run for Governor until 2024.

I can’t think of anything more Delaware Way than a worker benefit paid out of worker paychecks. If we aren’t careful we could get “paid” childcare or “paid” tuition using the same funding model. But #GettingThingsDone!
That’s how social insurance programs work. Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare are “Delaware Way?”
An individual mandate may be bearable for the first few benefit programs but is not an unlimited resource.
