Biden is about to choke on this Student Debt layup, landing funny on his ankle breaking it
I hate being able to see the future with such clarity. But Joe listens to too many sober centrist moderates. (That’s generous, maybe the sober centrist moderate he is listening to Joe Biden’s internal monologue? Who knows.)
Anyway, he could forgive student debt and let the Republicans & Coons have their conniption fit. They’ll have their conniption fit no matter what.
Just don’t fuck it up by means testing and forcing everybody into some complicated tax rebate scheme bullshit to get the money.
As I type that I know (100%) he is going to fuck it up.

NEW: In a private meeting, Biden gave CHC members the impression he’s leaning toward student debt forgiveness. A source familiar w/ Biden admin’s thinking says NO DECISION is made and that any loan cancellation would be linked to income, a la ARP checks.
The first step in relief of student borrowing obligations should be to forbid the loan-makers/sharks from practicing “USURY” at the public’s expense. The Sallie-Mays et al distribute taxpayer money that they get at under a half percent interest and funnel it to students at 8 %. “WTF?” I personally know a student whose original loan debt of $120,000 is now clocking in at over $300,000. These lenders, bankers, sharks are subsidized in their despicable behavior (with the willing assistance of lowlife Dem and Repub pigs alike) by the very taxes that these borrowers pay. Capitalistic greed and corporate welfare at its finest. GOD BLESS THE U.S. OF WALL STREET.

Hear hear dammit!
Usury? It’s a loaded term. Ezra Pound despised it. He was also a Nazi sympathizer. Pretty good poet though. If I remember my reading correctly, as a young man living in Philadelphia he hung out now and then at the Delaware beaches. Darned Sussex Countians.
As for me “as a young man living in Philadelphia” I hung out at the Jersey beaches, Margate, Wildwood and Ocean City N.J.
