Biden on Fetterman vs Oz or MCCormick:

Democrats are united around John, who is a strong nominee, will run a tough race, and can win in November. And while we await the results of the GOP primary, one thing is clear – these candidates are not your father’s GOP. They have fought a malicious, chaotic primary campaign to be the most extreme. And they have shown people their authentic selves – that whoever emerges will be too dangerous, too craven, and too extreme to represent Pennsylvania in the United States Senate.

    Summer Lee (PA)…
    Andrea Salinas (OR)…

Corporate Dems ate shit yesterday. Am I laughing? Yes, I’m laughing. We love to see it.

Here’s hoping Madison becomes so depressed at his defeat that he tries to end it all by rolling off the Capitol steps. I would pay good money for that .gif

  3. So did AIPAC, whose deep pockets couldn’t get these ‘centrists’ across the finish line. Is Netanyahu in jail yet?:

Thumbs up on that article. They attacked Lee by claiming that The Squad, Sanders et al can’t “get things done.” They never mention that the things they get done — look up Chris Coons’ list of wonderful bipartisan things he got done if you want evidence — are minor or trivial, which is why Republicans let them do them.

Speaking of throwing bails of money into the money incinerator:

Lamb’s super PAC, Penn Progress, is run by Erik Smith, a partner at public affairs consulting firm Seven Letter Labs. The firm says on its website that it works for Fortune 500 corporations, but it does not disclose its clients. Some of Seven Letter’s nonprofit clients, however, can be identified through tax forms. For example, Seven Letter worked in 2020 for Consumers for Quality Care, a D.C. health care policy think tank that has received more than $3 million in grants from Center Forward, a nonprofit that in turn is heavily funded by drug industry lobbying group Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.

Of course these Senate races are peanuts for Big Pharma.

FWIW – I like Fetterman’s game plan. Offices like Lt Gov’s can be the soft underbelly for attacking corporate Dems.

Meh bOZo’s campaign will come down to mail in ballots, you know the fraud votes. Who will be the first to say the election was fraudulent

Turkey is blackballing Finland/Sweden application to NATO because… misogyny?

“Cavusoglu not only set conditions for Turkey accepting the membership bids but raised his voice at Sweden’s Ann Linde in what three NATO diplomats said was an “embarrassing” break in protocol.”

“A Turkish diplomatic source said Cavusoglu had outlined Turkey’s stance respectfully, rejecting what he said was an allegation from Linde that its opposition was due to Sweden’s feminist foreign policy.”
