Which Senator Has Taken The Most NRA $$’s?  Pretty much all the R’s have cashed in.  Doubt that you can guess #1.  When Rethugs talk about ‘politicizing’ the issue of gun massacres, they’ve already been totally politicized. As in ‘in their pockets’.

Annnd, Right On Cue,  NRA To Convene In Texas.  Yes, Trump will appear at a ‘star-studded forum’:

The forum is also slated to include Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, South Dakota Gov. Kristi L. Noem, and North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson — all Republicans. The next night, “American Pie” singer Don McLean is due to perform. (Late note:  McLean has dropped out. Here are the following artists who will sing the praises of assault weapons): “Lee Greenwood, Larry Gatlin, Restless Heart singer Larry Stewart, newcomer Jacob Bryant and T. Graham Brown.

Rethugs To Kill Domestic Terrorism Legislation.  Well, they are The Domestic Terrorism Party:

Frustrated by the lack of federal action in response to various hate crimes in recent years, Democrats note that all House Republicans supported a nearly identical domestic terrorism bill less than two years ago, when it passed by voice vote.

“This is a party that is falling apart at the seams, if their path forward is to make it easier for white supremacists to get away with crimes in this country,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said of Republicans. “This is a super anodyne, inoffensive, apolitical piece of legislation that just seeks to be more coordinated in taking down violent white supremacists.”

88% Of Americans Support Background Checks On All Gun Purchases.  Here in Delaware, Pistol Pete Schwartzkopf and his gun groupies have buried legislation requiring a permit to buy firearms.  True to character, John Carney has not uttered one word on this.  Nor has he spoken out about how Pete and his fellow House gun nuts cut the teeth out of a ‘deadly weapons’ bill.  I ask that prime sponsor Sen. Sokola bring up the bill, pass an amendment eliminating the House amendments, send it back to the House and dare them to kill it again.  This time, with everybody watching. Perhaps our Party Chair will call out Speaker Pete and his mindless munitions minions.  Until this horse is dead, I’ll continue to beat it: The Kop Kabal must go.

McG Jury Selection Begins.  Trial to start next week.  Hey, I’m retired.  Wonder if I can ‘spectate’.

Another ‘Law-Abiding’ Citizen Arrested Right Here In Newark.  With an ‘AR-15 style weapon’.  Didn’t I just write something about this?  Oh, yes:
