Yesterday’s Reporting from REV and Bill – They beat me to a pithy headline

Filed in National by on June 23, 2022

“Filibusters and Frown Lines” – pretty good.  After listening, I’d have tried to bring in something that supports my previous observation that in the daily blizzard of petty corruption and laziness that is Delaware politics, it tough for the prosecutors to single out Park City’s corruption and laziness as being particularly egregious.  Perhaps – “Finding the Needle in the Needle-Stack”

But who knows, maybe the big Perry Mason moment is gestating, and the hammer of justice is about to land on McGuiness’s fat ‘ol entitled noggin,  but I doubt it.

On Day 5 of the Kathy trial, we hear from the infamous but largely innocent My Campaign Group, as well as Kathy’s infamous but largely innocent daughter. Also, why it’s hard to prosecute for a crime when everyone’s doing it.

Listened to the prior episode. REV and crew are doing a terrific job of catching many of the nuances, ex. The Adrena Burd story. After listening to that, I think McGuiness walks unless there is another shoe to drop.

I have a feeling this is going to look really bad in the end for the AG’s office. Trying to prosecute stupid and incompetent is tough when its a Delaware political job requirement.

With the ongoing State v Kathy saga it might be easy to overlook our regularly scheduled episode released today, The Perfect Attitude, featuring Sophie Phillips. Sophie is standing in a primary to replace David Bentz, who decided not to run for another term.
