Deb Heffernan’s Updated Financial Campaign Report Tells You Everything You Need To Know

Filed in Delaware, Featured by on August 24, 2022

This is the update that, had it been up to Deb, and hadn’t been demanded by Nancy Willing, would have remained hidden from the public until 8 days out.  Let’s just see which miscreants ponied up at that fundraiser:

Brian DiSabatino: $300

Building & Construction Trades: $600

Delaware Restaurant Association (those folks who really fought against doing away with plastic straws and cups): $600

Elizabeth Purzycki: $600

Jerome Heisler (perhaps the most virulent anti-mobile home park residents’ rights person in all of Delaware):  $600

Laird Stabler (the former Rethug national committeeman is his own LLC!): $250

Mike Hare (Mayor Mike’s sidekick at the RDS): $600

Rebecca Byrd:  $600

Robert Byrd (the polluters’ fave lobbyists come through in style!): $600

Rock Solid Contracting And Development (they have contracts with both the City of Wilmington and, yes, Buccini/Pollin): $300

Anyone still doubt where ‘dedicated environmentalist’ Deb Heffernan’s real loyalties lie?  Anyone who banks all this dirty money cannot be trusted.  At least by, you know, constituents.

BTW, the so-called updated report does not show any expenses related with the fundraiser at the Hotel DuPont.  What’s up with that?

If someone else “hosts” the fundraiser does she have to claim those funds?

    • El Somnambulo says:

It would at least have to be an ‘in-kind’ contribution.

But, yes, if a fundraiser is held on her behalf at the Hotel, she’s responsible for the expenses.

Maybe she’s got good credit with the Hotel (Buccinis, natch!) and didn’t have to pay for another 24-48 hours.

  3. Jason330 says:

Money from Robert Byrd should be as stigmatized as money from the NRA. It is a true and reliable marker of co-opted shitheadedness.
